At Anomaly, part of my role was looking for unconventional ways to bring Budweiser to life in its social spaces. We ended the Budweiser's Super Bowl XLVII "Brotherhood" commercial with a call to action for everyone watching at home - help Budweiser name the baby horse starring in the spot using the hashtag #Clydesdales.
Over 60,000 people submitted ideas a 24 hour period. The next day, she was named Hope.
We received so many responses (and some confusion about her gender) that we named her brother "Stan," to honor the St. Louis Cardinal's Stan Musial.
